The Empathy Set App

Understanding what we are feeling can be surprisingly difficult.

Many of us know when something feels wrong, frustrating, exciting, overwhelming, or painful, but struggle to find the words to describe the experience clearly. When we cannot name our feelings and needs, meaningful communication becomes harder and conflict often becomes more likely.

The Empathy Set App was created to help bridge that gap.

Inspired by the original Empathy Set® cards and the Dictionary of Feelings and Needs, the app guides users through a simple process of identifying feelings, exploring underlying needs, and finding language that supports understanding, connection, and problem-solving.

Whether you are working through a personal challenge, navigating a difficult conversation, supporting a family member, coaching a client, or resolving workplace conflict, the app provides a structured way to slow down and reflect before reacting.

Final Reflection

Empathy begins with awareness. When we have language for our experience, we become better able to understand ourselves, communicate with others, and navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and compassion.

The Empathy Set App was designed to support that journey.
